Daniela Privantu, former Dacia trainee, the 2008 Promotion, currently a Dacia employee with the Maintenance Department of the Powertrain Plant
Laura Privantu, Dacia trainee in 2009 in the Energetics Department
What did the traineeship mean to you?
Daniela: The team was really warm and supportive; they helped me with my B.Sc. Project, so I got the highest mark. I made a lot of friends, both as a trainee and as a Dacia employee.
Dacia introduced me to the complexity and challenges of an industrial environment. As a trainee, I had the opportunity to pass onto a more particular and practical level, with the help and expertise of my tutor and colleagues from the department.
Laura: Dacia’s specialists helped me with my first practical project, related to the field I chose to specialize in. The competitions held during the traineeship taught me to be a better team player and to become more competitive.
To put it short, I really enjoyed a very special experience! I am the youngest in the group and the team practically “adopted” me.
How do you think the traineeship helps you in your career?
Daniela: Based on my B.Sc. Project, I managed to develop certain interesting subjects related to my profession. Finally, I got to work where I wanted from the beginning. I got to work for Dacia.
I have always wanted to work for a big company. Dacia’s reputation and uniqueness at national and international level were two of the criteria that helped me decide in this direction, along with the possibility of building a career.
My family supported me all the way and I am happy now to have my own family in Pitesti. I have married recently and we decided to live here permanently.
After the trainee experience with Dacia, what would you recommend to senior students?
Daniela si Laura: Dare! Dacia’s traineeship will open new horizons for you! You will discover a professional working environment and an exceptional team!
