Dacia’s Central Logistics Department is the link between the Commercial Department, whose main mission is selling cars, and the Assembly and Powertrain Plants, in charge with car manufacturing. The Logistics Department employs 600 people. The Central Logistics Manager is Jean Detrun.
The Central Logistics Department is in charge with the following:
- Central Programming and Planning - Car shipping - Domestic transportation - Organisation - Shipping of CKD collections via the ILN-RIR Centre (International Logistics Network – Renault Industrie Roumanie)
- Sofasa -Medellin (Columbia) - Avtoframos – Moscow (Russia) - Iran Khodro and Iran Pars - Teheran (Iran) - Ayrton Senna - Curitiba (Brasil) - Mahindra – Nashik (India) - Nissan South Africa - Rosselyn (South Africa)
