This week-end, the municipality of Brasov will host the first stage of the Dacia JOE Cup, the first single-brand competition within the Romanian Rally Championship 2007.

Today, 26 February 2007, representatives of the Dacia management and of the "Autoturisme Dacia" Trade Union have reached a consensus for completing the negotiations on the 2007 Collective Labor Agreement. As a result, the conflict of interest has come to an end.

Mach 1 Motorsport s.r.l. launches a new single brand competition in the 2007 Romanian Rally Championship. Eight cities will host the ten stages of the competition, whose grand prize will consist of EUR 10,000. Numerous rally fans are expected to line up for the Dacia JOE Cup.

In 2006, Dacia accomplished the best commercial results in its entire history, with the level of sales reaching 196,708 units, of which 183,958 vehicles manufactured in Romania and 12,750 in Morocco. In year-on-year comparison, Dacia sales advanced by 19.6%.
